Good news for
As well as Vern Holland’s generous donation of $1000, Mr Ian Sigg, Senior Registrar, Frankston Court, has kindly donated $500 to assist us with our work. Accordingly, we are expanding our disadvantaged school student awards to more metropolitan and regional schools. Watch this space for further confirmation on which school is next. If you know of a deserving school, let us know.
Tina Papadopoulos has kindly donated $100 which has assisted Fitzroy High support 2 refugee students who are studying hard to make a good future for themselves through their education.
John & Koule Pantazopoulos have also donated $100, thanks J & K.
Disadvantaged School
We are expanding our disadvantaged school student awards program with every extra $. It is also nice to get some feedback and we have letters from a range of schools thanking us for our awards program. Some quotes include;
“Thankyou for your generosity” McKinnon Secondary College.
“I write to thank the Holland Foundation for it’s generous support of our students over the past 3 years” Bendigo Senior Secondary College.
“Thankyou for your kind offer … and have identified 2 students who will receive the scholarship … a Hmong girl in the Atherton Gardens High Rise Estate … The other a boy from a single parent family who has tremendous information and communication technology skills … help his work in digital design.” Fitzroy High.
All schools and recipient students are very, very thankful.
